George Washington was a worthless lying rapist and pillagers who was responsible for the massacre of hundreds of thousands, if not millions of peaceful men women and children of both indigenous tribes and any colonial settlements who stood for true freedom. Those who believed that the land they inhabited belonged to no one man, people, or government but was a God given right to live travel and protect so that future generations of both humans and wildlife may live in harmony with each other. A land where the people spoke for themselves and governed themselves as individual communities with no all powerful hierarchy sickened with greed and self serving tendencies. Hoarding all resources and wealth with such negligence for life, liberty and freedom of others that less than 1% of the population controls over 90% of the wealth and resources of the entire planet while countless millions of animals and humans alike die every year due to starvation and the destruction and poisoning of the environment. The entire stability of the planets ecosystem is at stake...all due to the greed of less than 1%....wake up....what scares me the most is that America is the only country where slaves believe they are free....most of the population lives barely above poverty while enslaving themselves to corporations their entire lives paying outrageous taxes and fees and insurance only to retire an old crippled man with 1/4 of their income and expected to survive the remainder of their lives. When people believe they're free...they work harder for their slave owners...the best scam a government has ever pulled on its people and it works like a charm

Their tradition allowed them to bring outsiders in to the tribe. Cherokee seen people as kinsman or enemies. Captives taken from battle were adopted in to klans, same with escaped slaves. It was possible to be adopted in to a klan. 1730s, ancestors of appalachians went to the mountains, Germans, English and Wales. Most prominent were Irish. After a century in Ulster, Scotch irish migrated to America, Appalachia. Scotch Irish amongst first to make the Appalachia home. Germans known for rules, building staunch barns. Scotch irish were of fighting stock.

That was self serving what the 11th president James Knox Polk did. They had a near impossible time to get people to take the risk and leave the east to occupy California and the far west.
